Recharge
There are 3 ways in which you can recharge your account. Each method uses secure services to ensure complete safety of your details.
One time recharge online
Once logged in to your account, select "One Time Recharge" from the menu options on the left. The credit card details used to open the account are already stored for you, however in order to maintain security, you will only see the last 4 digits.
Select the amount you wish to recharge and click on "Submit".
To change or add a new credit card, click on "Add New Credit Card".
One time recharge using the phone
You can also recharge your account via your telephone.
Simply access your account as though you were making a call (using the local access number and entering your PIN if necessary).
Note: you must have your credit card details registered with GlobeTalk in order to use this feature (see above).
When prompted to enter the number you’d like to call, press * * (star, star) to go to the main menu.
Press 1 to recharge using your credit card.
To verify your details, you will be asked to:
Enter the last 4 digits of your registered credit card.
Enter expiration date, (eg/ 0108 for Jan08 or 01/08).
Enter amount in dollars you wish to recharge, then press #.
This amount must be between $5 and $125 inclusive.
To recharge with $5, press 5 #.
The amount will be read out to you:
press 1 to continue and process the transaction,
press 2 to try again.
Once you have pressed 1 to continue, the transaction will occur and your new prepaid balance will be read out to you.
Auto recharge
If you’re a regular user of GlobeTalk and would like to setup your account to be recharged automatically, select "Auto Recharge" from the menu options on the left.
You can set it to recharge:
monthly (eg/ 18th day of each month) or
weekly (eg/ every Monday).
Or – you can set it to recharge based on your threshold.
For instance, each time your balance gets to $5, you can set it to recharge automatically with $20.
You can stop your auto recharge setting at any time by clicking on the "Remove Settings" button in your "Auto Recharge Settings" page.
Account History
To view your account history, select "Account History" from the menu options on the left. You can view a month at a time. Select the month from the drop down menu at the top of the page, then click on "Retrieve".
Options
Primus Globetalk allows you to manage how your call flow occurs. If you select "Options" from the menu on the left, you will notice that "play time" and "play balance" are selected.
| Play time available: | means that the time available for the call will be read out to you before the call is connected |
| Play balance: | means that your account balance will be read out to you each time you log into your account |
You can deselect these options by removing the tick in the box.
One-step Dialling
Primus GlobeTalk allows you to register up to 5 phone numbers that you regularly make calls from, to eliminate the need to enter a PIN.
Select "One-step Dialling" from the menu on the left
Click on the button that says "Add new"
In the column that says "Phone number", type in the number you wish to register, including the area code, with no spaces. For example, 0399876543.
Click on the "Save" button.
To remove a registered number, click in the corresponding box in the "Remove" column, next to the number you wish to remove. Click on the "Save" button.
Note: In order to be able to use this function, the system needs to be able to recognise the number the call is being made from, and match that to one registered. If it can’t determine the phone number making the call, or it doesn’t match one that is registered, it asks for a PIN. An easy way to test this is to call a mobile from the applicable phone, and see if the correct number appears on the mobile screen.
Speed Dials
You can save up to 20 of your favourite numbers, eliminating the need to enter lengthy phone numbers when you make a call. This is also useful for users who enter numbers slowly or with errors.
Select "Speed Dials" from the menu on the left
Type in a 2-digit "Speed-Dial digit" in the applicable column. For example, 10
In the next column "Phone number" enter the entire number including area codes with no spaces.
For example: 001144123456789 or 0399123456
Click on "Save"
To remove a Speed Dial number, click on the corresponding box in the "Remove" column, next to the number you wish to remove. Click on the "Save" button.
To make a call using Speed Dial, simply dial the 2-digit code when asked to enter the phone number you wish to call.
