Access Numbers

The Access Number is the phone number you call to use the service.

Which access number to use?

The biggest savings are made by making a local call to one of the Local Access Numbers listed, using a fixed line to access the service.

Are you in one of the cities listed?

If you can make a local call to any one of the numbers listed below, that’s the Access Number you should use. Calling from a fixed line in the local area, you will be charged for an un-timed local call from your service provider to access the service.

Can’t make a local call to any of these numbers?

If your city is not listed, you should use the 1300 797 659 access number. Calling from a fixed line anywhere in Australia, you will be charged for an un-timed call (similar to local call cost) from your service provider, and a surcharge of 4¢/min will be applied for the duration of your call.

Should you require a toll-free access number (for example, calling from a phone box without coins to use for the call to the access number), you should use the 1800 797 630 access number. You will not be charged for the call to the Access Number, and a surcharge of 6¢/minute will be applied to the advertised GlobeTalk rate for the duration of the call.

NOTE: Calls to any of these Access Numbers from a mobile may be timed and may attract higher charges from your mobile provider. Check with your mobile provider for the cost of calls to these numbers.

Hotels may also add a surcharge for calls to these Access Numbers, and they may be timed. Check with the hotel before you make the call.
